Monitor and maintain overall cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the hotel.
Develop and implement hygiene policies and procedures in accordance with local regulations and industry best practices.
Train and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure proper cleaning techniques and hygiene practices are followed.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any areas in need of improvement.
Collaborate with other departments, such as food and beverage and maintenance, to ensure all areas of the hotel meet hygiene standards.
Monitor inventory and order necessary cleaning and hygiene supplies.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and report any concerns or incidents to management.
Communicate and coordinate with external vendors for specialized cleaning services.
Conduct training sessions for all employees on proper hygiene practices and procedures.
Conduct investigations and follow up on any guest complaints related to hygiene.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in hygiene practices.
Collaborate with HR to recruit and onboard new housekeeping staff.
Create schedules and assign tasks to housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of all areas.
Communicate with guests and address any concerns or requests regarding hygiene.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to hygiene and cleanliness.

Job Qualifications

Knowledge Of Hygiene Standards: A Qualified Assistant Manager-Hygiene At Hyatt Should Have Extensive Knowledge Of Hygiene Standards And Regulations In The Hospitality Industry. This Includes Knowledge Of Food Safety, Sanitation, And Cleanliness Protocols.
Previous Experience: Hyatt Looks For Candidates With A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role In The Hospitality Industry. Previous Experience In Managing A Team And Ensuring Compliance With Hygiene Standards Is Highly Desired.
Strong Communication Skills: As An Assistant Manager-Hygiene At Hyatt, One Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Team Members, Management, And External Stakeholders. This Includes Providing Clear Instructions, Addressing Concerns, And Reporting Any Issues Or Incidents.
Attention To Detail: The Role Of An Assistant Manager-Hygiene Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail To Ensure That All Areas Of The Hotel Are Clean And Compliant With Hygiene Standards. This Includes Conducting Regular Inspections, Identifying Potential Risks, And Taking Corrective Actions.
Team Management Skills: The Assistant Manager-Hygiene Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Hygiene Staff. Therefore, Strong Leadership And Team Management Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
