- Monitor and maintain overall cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the hotel.
- Develop and implement hygiene policies and procedures in accordance with local regulations and industry best practices.
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure proper cleaning techniques and hygiene practices are followed.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any areas in need of improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as food and beverage and maintenance, to ensure all areas of the hotel meet hygiene standards.
- Monitor inventory and order necessary cleaning and hygiene supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and report any concerns or incidents to management.
- Communicate and coordinate with external vendors for specialized cleaning services.
- Conduct training sessions for all employees on proper hygiene practices and procedures.
- Conduct investigations and follow up on any guest complaints related to hygiene.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in hygiene practices.
- Collaborate with HR to recruit and onboard new housekeeping staff.
- Create schedules and assign tasks to housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of all areas.
- Communicate with guests and address any concerns or requests regarding hygiene.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to hygiene and cleanliness.
Knowledge Of Hygiene Standards: A Qualified Assistant Manager-Hygiene At Hyatt Should Have Extensive Knowledge Of Hygiene Standards And Regulations In The Hospitality Industry. This Includes Knowledge Of Food Safety, Sanitation, And Cleanliness Protocols.
Previous Experience: Hyatt Looks For Candidates With A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role In The Hospitality Industry. Previous Experience In Managing A Team And Ensuring Compliance With Hygiene Standards Is Highly Desired.
