
Assistant Food & Beverage Manager
Hyatt is looking for an experienced and passionate Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our food and beverage departments. You will be expected to create a positive and engaging environment for guests and team members alike, while providing exceptional service.The ideal candidate should have at least two years of food and beverage management experience in a hotel, restaurant or similar environment, and possess excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. You should have a strong passion for providing quality food and beverage experiences that exceed guest expectations. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to multitask and think quickly on your feet are essential for success in this role. You must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and be able to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the food and beverage departments, including staffing, ordering, inventory, budgeting, and analytics.
- Create a positive and engaging environment for both guests and team members.
- Provide exceptional service and quality food and beverage experiences that exceed guest expectations.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency and profitability.
- Monitor and maintain adherence to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Train, mentor, and coach team members to ensure that all staff are knowledgeable and skilled in their roles.
- Ensure that the department is in compliance with all local and federal laws, regulations, and policies.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Manage the cash float and monitor the accuracy of cash and credit transactions.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure a smooth and successful guest experience.
- Lead the team to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
