  1. Collaborate with the Executive Housekeeper to ensure that the hotel's cleanliness and appearance meet the highest standards.
  2. Supervise and manage housekeeping staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  3. Develop and implement procedures for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of all areas of the hotel.
  4. Oversee the inventory and ordering of housekeeping supplies, ensuring that adequate levels are maintained at all times.
  5. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure they are clean and well-maintained.
  6. Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping.
  7. Maintain a safe, healthy, and productive work environment for all housekeeping staff.
  8. Monitor and track housekeeping expenses and work within budgetary constraints.
  9. Assist with hiring, training, and evaluating new housekeeping staff.
  10. Create and maintain schedules for housekeeping staff, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
  11. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  12. Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate expectations, provide updates, and address any issues.
  13. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in housekeeping.
  14. Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to housekeeping operations.
  15. Continuously look for ways to improve housekeeping processes and procedures.
  16. Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and exceptional customer service at all times.
  17. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation guidelines.
  18. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment for all team members.
  19. Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper or management.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Housekeeping Experience: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Role In The Housekeeping Department Is Required For This Position. Previous Experience In A Luxury Hotel Setting Is Preferred.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: The Assistant Executive Housekeeper Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Housekeeping Staff, So Strong Leadership Skills Are Essential. This Includes The Ability To Motivate And Train Team Members, As Well As Delegate Tasks Effectively.

  • Attention To Detail: A Keen Eye For Detail Is Necessary For This Role, As The Assistant Executive Housekeeper Will Be Responsible For Ensuring That All Guest Rooms And Public Areas Are Cleaned And Maintained To The Highest Standards.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial In This Role, As The Assistant Executive Housekeeper Will Be Working Closely With Other Departments Such As Front Office And Maintenance. The Ability To Communicate Clearly And Professionally With Both Guests And Colleagues Is Essential.

  • Knowledge Of Housekeeping Operations: A Good Understanding Of Housekeeping Operations And Procedures Is Required For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Cleaning Techniques, Inventory Management, And Scheduling. Knowledge Of Hyatt Brand Standards Is Also A Plus.
