  1. Develop and implement value-based contracting strategies to drive improved outcomes and cost savings for Humana's members.
  2. Analyze healthcare data and trends to identify opportunities for value-based contracting partnerships.
  3. Negotiate contracts with healthcare providers and other partners to support value-based care initiatives.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and implementation of value-based contracting strategies.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the success of value-based contracts and make recommendations for improvement.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in value-based care and contract negotiation.
  7. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, internal teams, and external partners.
  8. Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to provide updates and progress reports.
  9. Lead and mentor team members to support the development and implementation of value-based contracting strategies.
  10. Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the value-based contracting team.
  11. Represent Humana at industry events and conferences to showcase our value-based contracting initiatives.
  12. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies related to value-based contracting.
  13. Identify and address any challenges or barriers to successful value-based contracting.
  14. Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and legal, to ensure the financial viability and legal compliance of value-based contracts.
  15. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making related to value-based care initiatives at Humana.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Related Field Such As Healthcare Administration, Business, Or Finance.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Contract Negotiation, Management, And Execution.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Value-Based Payment Models And Alternative Payment Arrangements.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Evaluate And Interpret Complex Financial And Clinical Data.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Providers, Vendors, And Internal Stakeholders.
