- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient medications and interactions.
- Communicate with insurance companies to obtain prior authorizations and ensure coverage for specialty medications.
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for medication orders.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure availability of specialty medications.
- Utilize electronic medical records and pharmacy software to accurately document and track patient information.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy operations and patient privacy.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in pharmacy operations.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Attend training and education sessions to stay current on pharmaceutical products and industry changes.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) Designation From The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (Ptcb).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Pharmacy Technician In A Specialty Pharmacy Setting.
Knowledge Of Specialty Medication Therapies, Including Prior Authorization And Medication Adherence Programs.
Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Prescribers, And Insurance Companies.
Familiarity With Pharmacy Software Systems, Such As Epic Or Cerner, And Proficiency In Data Entry And Medication Dispensing.
