  1. Manage and oversee the accuracy and integrity of encounter data for Humana, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements.
  2. Develop and implement efficient processes for the collection, validation, and reporting of encounter data.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data discrepancies and ensure timely and accurate submission of data.
  4. Monitor and analyze encounter data trends and identify areas for improvement, making recommendations for process enhancements.
  5. Act as a subject matter expert on encounter data, staying up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices.
  6. Train and mentor team members on encounter data management processes and procedures.
  7. Proactively identify potential issues and risks related to encounter data and take appropriate action to mitigate them.
  8. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including providers, to resolve encounter data-related inquiries and issues.
  9. Contribute to the development and implementation of new encounter data-related policies and procedures.
  10. Participate in audits and other quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and completeness of encounter data.
  11. Maintain documentation and records related to encounter data management activities.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Encounter Data Management, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Encounter Data Processing Systems, Such As Edi, Hedis, And Hcc.

  • Strong Understanding Of Medicare And Medicaid Regulations And Guidelines Related To Encounter Data Submissions.

  • Excellent Project Management Skills With The Ability To Lead And Manage A Team.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Health Information Management, Computer Science, Or A Related Field.
