  1. Develop and maintain effective data management processes and systems to ensure accurate and timely encounter data submissions.
  2. Monitor and analyze encounter data to identify any discrepancies or errors, and take necessary corrective actions.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper coding and documentation of encounter data.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and guidelines related to encounter data management and make recommendations for process improvements.
  5. Train and mentor junior data management professionals to ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards.
  6. Generate reports and provide data analysis to support decision making and strategic planning.
  7. Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline data management processes.
  8. Serve as a subject matter expert for encounter data management and provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders.
  9. Communicate effectively with external partners, such as providers and payers, to resolve any data-related issues.
  10. Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all encounter data management activities.
  11. Participate in audits and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  12. Continuously review and improve encounter data management procedures to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
  13. Actively contribute to the achievement of company goals and objectives through effective data management practices.
  14. Stay informed of emerging trends and technologies in data management and make recommendations for their implementation.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Data Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Encounter Data Management, Preferably In A Leadership Or Senior Level Role.

  • Proficiency In Encounter Data Systems And Software, Such As Edi, Hedis, And Cms Regulations.

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Industry Trends And Regulations, Including Medicare And Medicaid.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Departments.
