  1. Provide compassionate and skilled care to patients in their homes, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  2. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and develop individualized care plans.
  3. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
  4. Monitor and document patient progress, including any changes in condition or response to treatment.
  5. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic and comprehensive care for patients.
  6. Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication administration, and other health-related topics.
  7. Communicate effectively with physicians, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and optimize patient care.
  8. Adhere to all regulatory and legal requirements, as well as company policies and procedures.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  11. Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, promoting their rights and ensuring their needs are met.
  12. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment within the home health care team.
  13. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of job performance.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Rn License: Candidates Applying For A Rn Home Health Full Time Job At Humana Must Possess A Current And Active Rn License In The State Where The Job Is Located. This License Must Also Be In Good Standing With No Disciplinary Actions Or Restrictions.

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience In Home Health: Humana Requires Candidates To Have At Least 1 Year Of Experience Working In A Home Health Setting. This Experience Should Include Providing Direct Patient Care, Developing Care Plans, And Collaborating With Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Rn Home Health Full Time Job At Humana, Candidates Must Possess Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Other Members Of The Healthcare Team.

  • Knowledge Of Medicare Guidelines And Regulations: Humana Is A Medicare Advantage Provider, So Candidates Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Medicare Guidelines And Regulations, As Well As Experience With Medicare Documentation And Billing.

  • Bls Certification: Candidates Must Be Certified In Basic Life Support (Bls) For Healthcare Providers Through The American Heart Association. This Certification Must Be Kept Current Throughout Employment At Humana.
