Job Description

  1. Conduct quality assessments: The Quality RN will be responsible for conducting quality assessments to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to members. This includes analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing evidence-based practices.
  2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team: The Quality RN will work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, case managers, and pharmacists, to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  3. Monitor and track quality metrics: The Quality RN will be responsible for monitoring and tracking quality metrics to measure the effectiveness of interventions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  4. Participate in quality improvement projects: The Quality RN will actively participate in quality improvement projects, including developing and implementing best practices and protocols, to enhance the overall quality of care provided to members.
  5. Educate staff on quality initiatives: The Quality RN will educate and train staff on quality initiatives, ensuring that all team members understand their roles and responsibilities in delivering high-quality care.
  6. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards: The Quality RN will ensure that all quality improvement initiatives adhere to regulatory standards and guidelines, such as those set by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
  7. Conduct audits and surveys: The Quality RN will conduct audits and surveys to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  8. Provide feedback and recommendations: The Quality RN will provide feedback and recommendations to leadership on areas for improvement and strategies for enhancing the quality of care provided to members.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry developments: The Quality RN will stay informed about industry developments, best practices, and emerging trends in quality improvement to continuously enhance their knowledge and skills.
  10. Uphold Humana's mission and values: The Quality RN will uphold Humana's mission and values by promoting a culture of excellence, compassion, and integrity in all aspects of their work.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Rn License: A Quality Rn At Green Valley Must Hold A Current And Valid Rn License In The State Of Arizona. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Met All Necessary Education And Training Requirements To Practice As A Registered Nurse.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting: Humana Seeks Candidates With At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Quality Or Case Management Role. This Experience Demonstrates The Candidate's Ability To Assess And Coordinate Patient Care And Make Informed Decisions In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Strong Understanding Of Quality Improvement Processes: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Quality Improvement Processes And Methodologies, Such As Lean Or Six Sigma. This Knowledge Is Essential For Identifying And Implementing Strategies To Improve Patient Outcomes And Reduce Healthcare Costs.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Quality Rn At Green Valley, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Collaborating With Various Healthcare Professionals And Communicating With Patients And Their Families. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Crucial For Building Relationships And Effectively Delivering Patient-Centered Care.
