  1. Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients as a Primary Care Physician on a VSP/PRN basis.
  2. Deliver exceptional patient-centered care by building strong relationships with patients and families.
  3. Demonstrate a commitment to improving the health and well-being of our patients and local communities.
  4. Utilize strong clinical skills and knowledge in primary care to accurately diagnose and treat patients.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including specialists, to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including electronic health records.
  7. Stay current on industry developments and best practices in primary care to continuously improve the quality of care provided.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure a positive patient experience.
  9. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards, including HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
  10. Attend regular team meetings and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  11. Uphold the values and standards of Humana in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
  12. Provide guidance and support to medical assistants and other staff members as needed.
  13. Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold ethical standards in all aspects of the job.
  14. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the organization.
  15. Actively participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: A Primary Care Physician Vsp/Prn At Humana Should Possess A Medical Degree From An Accredited University Or College.

  • Board Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Board Certified In Internal Medicine Or Family Medicine. This Ensures That The Physician Has Met The Rigorous Standards Set By The American Board Of Medical Specialties.

  • Valid State License: A Primary Care Physician Must Hold A Valid And Unrestricted License To Practice Medicine In The State Where The Job Is Located.

  • Minimum Experience: Humana Requires Candidates To Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Working As A Primary Care Physician In An Outpatient Setting. This Ensures That The Physician Has A Strong Foundation And Familiarity With Managing Patients In A Primary Care Setting.

  • Strong Communication Skills: A Primary Care Physician At Humana Must Possess Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
