Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Physical Therapy: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Physical Therapy Is Required For This Position. A Master's Degree Is Preferred.

  • State Licensure: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid Physical Therapy License In The State Where They Will Be Practicing. Additional Licensure Or Certifications May Be Required Depending On The State's Regulations.

  • Experience In Home Health Setting: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience Working As A Physical Therapist In A Home Health Setting. This Includes Experience With Developing And Implementing Individualized Treatment Plans, Conducting Home Visits, And Coordinating With Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Home Health Physical Therapist, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Patients And Their Families, As Well As Other Healthcare Professionals. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Building Rapport, Providing Education And Instructions, And Collaborating Effectively With Team Members.

  • Knowledge Of Medicare And Medicaid Regulations: Humana Is A Medicare And Medicaid Provider, So Knowledge Of These Programs And Regulations Is Crucial For This Position. The Candidate Should Be Familiar With Billing Procedures, Documentation Requirements, And Compliance Guidelines To Ensure Proper Reimbursement And Adherence To Regulations.
