  1. Provide hands-on care to patients of all ages under the direction of licensed physical therapists.
  2. Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
  3. Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising physical therapist.
  4. Educate patients and their families about therapeutic exercises and activities to improve their physical well-being.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area and ensure all equipment is properly sanitized and maintained.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in physical therapy and incorporate them into patient care.
  8. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of practice in physical therapy.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members.
  10. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and billing information.
  11. Participate in continuing education and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  12. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.
  13. Promote a positive and compassionate attitude towards patients and their families.
  14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  15. Collaborate with insurance companies to ensure proper reimbursement for services provided.
  16. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  17. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  18. Continuously evaluate and assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  19. Represent Humana in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  20. Maintain a valid state license and adhere to all state and federal regulations for physical therapy practice.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree In Physical Therapy Assistant Program From An Accredited Institution.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Valid State Licensure Or Certification As A Physical Therapist Assistant.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Physical Therapist Assistant In A Clinical Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Current Principles And Practices Of Physical Therapy And Ability To Adapt Treatment Plans Based On Individual Patient Needs And Goals.
