  1. Provide compassionate care: The Physical Therapist Assistant will be responsible for providing compassionate and empathetic care to patients who are recovering from injuries or illnesses.
  2. Assist with rehabilitation: The primary responsibility of the Physical Therapist Assistant will be to assist the Physical Therapist in providing rehabilitation services to patients, including implementing treatment plans and monitoring progress.
  3. Conduct patient evaluations: The Physical Therapist Assistant will be responsible for conducting initial patient evaluations, including taking medical histories, assessing physical capabilities, and documenting findings.
  4. Develop treatment plans: Based on patient evaluations and in collaboration with the Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant will develop individualized treatment plans to help patients meet their rehabilitation goals.
  5. Support patient's daily activities: The Physical Therapist Assistant will assist patients with their daily activities, such as getting in and out of bed, walking, and performing exercises.
  6. Monitor and document progress: The Physical Therapist Assistant will be responsible for monitoring and documenting patients' progress, including any changes in their condition, to ensure the effectiveness of the treatment plan.
  7. Educate patients and their families: The Physical Therapist Assistant will educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities, as well as on ways to prevent future injuries.
  8. Collaborate with healthcare team: The Physical Therapist Assistant will work closely with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Current State Licensure Or Certification As A Physical Therapist Assistant.

  • A Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Physical Therapy From An Accredited Program.

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Physical Therapist Assistant In A Home Health Setting.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Patients And Their Families In A Home Setting.

  • Demonstrated Knowledge And Proficiency In Providing A Variety Of Physical Therapy Techniques And Modalities, Including Exercise Programs, Manual Therapy, And Assistive Devices.
