- Provide compassionate care: The Physical Therapist Assistant will be responsible for providing compassionate and empathetic care to patients who are recovering from injuries or illnesses.
- Assist with rehabilitation: The primary responsibility of the Physical Therapist Assistant will be to assist the Physical Therapist in providing rehabilitation services to patients, including implementing treatment plans and monitoring progress.
- Conduct patient evaluations: The Physical Therapist Assistant will be responsible for conducting initial patient evaluations, including taking medical histories, assessing physical capabilities, and documenting findings.
- Develop treatment plans: Based on patient evaluations and in collaboration with the Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant will develop individualized treatment plans to help patients meet their rehabilitation goals.
- Support patient's daily activities: The Physical Therapist Assistant will assist patients with their daily activities, such as getting in and out of bed, walking, and performing exercises.
- Monitor and document progress: The Physical Therapist Assistant will be responsible for monitoring and documenting patients' progress, including any changes in their condition, to ensure the effectiveness of the treatment plan.
- Educate patients and their families: The Physical Therapist Assistant will educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities, as well as on ways to prevent future injuries.
- Collaborate with healthcare team: The Physical Therapist Assistant will work closely with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to patient care.
- Maintain patient records: The Physical Therapist Assistant will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans.

Current State Licensure Or Certification As A Physical Therapist Assistant.
A Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Physical Therapy From An Accredited Program.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Physical Therapist Assistant In A Home Health Setting.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Patients And Their Families In A Home Setting.
Demonstrated Knowledge And Proficiency In Providing A Variety Of Physical Therapy Techniques And Modalities, Including Exercise Programs, Manual Therapy, And Assistive Devices.
