As a Per Diem Floater Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of our pharmacies and providing exceptional customer service to our members.   1. Provide exceptional customer service to all Humana members at various pharmacy locations.
  2. Assist in maintaining accurate medication records and inventory management.
  3. Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
  4. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication management for patients.
  5. Adhere to all state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures.
  6. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  7. Demonstrate strong knowledge of medication dosages, drug interactions, and proper handling and storage techniques.
  8. Handle cash, credit, and insurance transactions with accuracy and integrity.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues.
  10. Adapt to changing work environments and schedules as a floater technician across multiple pharmacy locations.
  11. Participate in ongoing training and education to ensure knowledge of new medications and procedures.
  12. Provide support to fellow team members as needed.
  13. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work culture within the pharmacy team.
  14. Prioritize workload and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  15. Uphold Humana's values and mission of improving the health and well-being of our members.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) Credential From The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (Ptcb).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Pharmacy Technician In A Retail Or Mail Order Pharmacy Setting.

  • Familiarity With Electronic Health Records And Ability To Navigate Pharmacy-Specific Software Systems.

  • Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Patients, Pharmacists, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Flexibility To Work Varying Shifts And Locations As Needed, Including Weekends And Holidays.
