- Conduct initial assessments and evaluations of patients to determine their occupational therapy needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals for patients based on their specific needs and abilities.
- Implement occupational therapy interventions and techniques to improve patients' functional abilities and independence.
- Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Educate patients and their families on the benefits and importance of occupational therapy in their overall health and well-being.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient treatment and progress.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the delivery of occupational therapy services.
- Continuously stay updated on current trends and advancements in occupational therapy and incorporate them into practice.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and compassion towards patients and their families.
- Comply with all organizational policies and procedures.
- Assist in training and supervising other occupational therapy staff, as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of new programs and initiatives.
- Represent Humana and its values in a positive and professional manner at all times.
- Continuously strive to improve the quality of care and services provided to patients.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Occupational Therapy From An Accredited University.
Current State License To Practice Occupational Therapy.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As An Occupational Therapist.
Ability To Work Independently And Manage Time Effectively To Meet Patient Needs In A Per Diem Role.
