- Assess, plan, and implement personalized occupational therapy interventions to help clients regain and maintain their independence and quality of life.
- Collaborate with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client evaluations, treatment plans, and progress.
- Educate clients and their families on injury prevention, therapeutic exercises, and adaptive equipment to improve daily living activities.
- Stay up-to-date on current occupational therapy techniques and research to provide the best possible care to clients.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues to promote a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and other professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Provide support and guidance to less experienced therapists and students.
- Represent the company in a professional and compassionate manner at all times.
- Continuously strive to improve client satisfaction and outcomes through evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Occupational Therapy From An Accredited Institution.
Current State Licensure As An Occupational Therapist.
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Home Health Or Related Field.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
Knowledge Of Medicare And Medicaid Reimbursement Guidelines And Regulations For Home Health Services.
