  1. Dispensing Medications: The Clinical Services Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications to patients, following all relevant laws and regulations.
  2. Patient Education: The technician will be responsible for educating patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and any other relevant information.
  3. Medication Management: This role will involve monitoring and managing medication inventory levels, ensuring that medications are properly stored and disposed of.
  4. Administrative Tasks: The Clinical Services Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for maintaining patient records, processing insurance claims, and performing other administrative tasks as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) Credential From A Recognized Accrediting Body, Such As The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (Ptcb) Or National Healthcareer Association (Nha).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Pharmacy Setting, Preferably In A Managed Care Or Health Insurance Environment.

  • Familiarity With Prescription Drug Plans, Formularies, And Prior Authorization Processes.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Medication Therapy Management (Mtm) Programs And Ability To Perform Comprehensive Medication Reviews (Cmrs) For Patients With Chronic Conditions.

  • Proficiency In Utilizing Pharmacy Software Systems, Including Electronic Health Records (Ehrs) And Claims Processing Systems.
