  2. Ensure all patients are assisted promptly and efficiently.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers in both English and Spanish.
  4. Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
  5. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a courteous and timely manner.
  6. Maintain patient records and update information as needed.
  7. Verify insurance information and collect necessary co-payments.
  8. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
  9. Follow HIPAA guidelines to keep patient information confidential.
  10. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry.
  11. Handle patient complaints and concerns in a calm and professional manner.
  12. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth patient flow.

Job Qualifications
  • Fluency In Multiple Languages: A Bilingual Medical Receptionist At Humana Should Be Proficient In At Least Two Languages, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients Who May Not Speak English As Their First Language.
