  1. Develop and lead data-driven strategies and initiatives to support Humana's mission of helping members live healthy and fulfilling lives.
  2. Utilize data analytics and insights to identify opportunities for improvement and drive impactful business decisions.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data needs and develop solutions to address them.
  4. Monitor and analyze data to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in data science to ensure Humana remains at the forefront of data-driven healthcare.
  6. Recruit, manage, and develop a high-performing team of data scientists.
  7. Oversee the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures.
  8. Work closely with other leaders and stakeholders to align data strategies with overall business objectives.
  9. Communicate complex data concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  10. Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
  11. Identify and implement new technologies and tools to enhance data analytics capabilities.
  12. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the data science team.
  13. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to leverage their expertise and capabilities in data science.
  14. Drive a culture of data-driven decision making throughout the organization.
  15. Represent Humana in industry events and conferences to showcase our data-driven approach and expertise.

  • Advanced Knowledge Of Data Analytics: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Data Analysis Techniques, Such As Statistical Modeling, Predictive Analytics, And Machine Learning. They Should Also Have Experience In Working With Large And Complex Data Sets.

  • Business Acumen: The Associate Vp, Data Science Should Have A Strong Business Acumen And Be Able To Translate Data Insights Into Actionable Business Strategies. They Should Have Experience In Driving Business Results Through Data-Driven Decision Making.
