
Associate Director, Compliance

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to healthcare compliance.
- Oversee and monitor the implementation of compliance programs and procedures to ensure adherence to all applicable regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with various departments, including legal, risk management, and internal audit, to ensure alignment and consistency in compliance efforts.
- Stay current on industry trends and changes in regulations and proactively implement necessary updates to compliance policies and procedures.
- Lead and train employees on compliance policies and procedures to promote a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
- Investigate and address any compliance violations or concerns, and develop corrective action plans to prevent future incidents.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external regulatory agencies and serve as the point of contact for compliance-related inquiries.
- Prepare and submit necessary compliance reports and documentation to regulatory agencies and company leadership.
- Continuously monitor and report on the effectiveness of compliance programs and make recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance matters, providing guidance and support to all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Represent the company in compliance-related meetings, conferences, and other events.
- Stay updated on best practices and industry standards to ensure the company maintains a high level of compliance.
- Uphold the company's mission and values, promoting a culture of integrity, ethics, and compliance throughout the organization.
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Business, Healthcare, Or Law.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Compliance Or A Related Field In The Healthcare Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Federal And State Regulations Pertaining To Healthcare Compliance, Including But Not Limited To Hipaa, Medicare/Medicaid, And Aca.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Compliance Policies And Procedures To All Levels Of The Organization.
Prior Experience Managing A Team And Implementing Compliance Programs In A Large Organization.
