- Develop and maintain pricing strategies for Humana's Medicare Part D products, ensuring they are competitive, compliant, and sustainable.
- Conduct thorough analysis of data and trends to inform pricing decisions and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, underwriting, and sales, to ensure alignment and effectiveness of pricing strategies.
- Stay up-to-date on industry and regulatory changes that may impact Part D pricing, and make necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.
- Utilize actuarial models and tools to evaluate risk, profitability, and potential impact of pricing changes.
- Communicate pricing recommendations and rationale to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of Part D pricing strategies, and make adjustments as needed to meet business goals.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new products and benefit designs within the Part D market.
- Mentor and train junior actuarial staff on Part D pricing principles and practices.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and methodologies related to Part D pricing.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all pricing analyses and related documentation.
Bachelor's Degree In Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Or A Related Field.
At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Actuarial Work, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Insurance Principles, Pricing Methodologies, And Risk Analysis.
Proficiency In Actuarial Software And Programming Languages Such As Sas, Sql, And R.
Excellent Analytical, Problem-Solving, And Communication Skills With The Ability To Work In A Team Environment.
