Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic Retail Buyer to join the HUGO BOSS team! In this role, you will be responsible for the selection, purchase, and distribution of merchandise for our retail stores. You’ll be a key part of a team that is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and creating an unforgettable shopping experience for our customers.To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of two years of retail buying experience, a keen eye for detail, and an in-depth understanding of fashion trends. You’ll also need excellent communication skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.If you’re a creative problem solver who is passionate about fashion and customer service, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and product availability.
  2. Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and store performance data to identify and select merchandise for retail stores.
  3. Negotiate prices and delivery timelines with vendors and suppliers.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and stock availability to ensure stores have the right products in the right quantities.
  5. Create and manage purchasing budgets and ensure accurate forecasting of merchandise needs.
  6. Oversee the distribution of merchandise to stores and ensure timely delivery.
  7. Create and implement merchandising strategies and promotional campaigns.
  8. Develop effective training for store staff on merchandise selection and customer service.
  9. Remain up to date on industry trends and changes in customer preferences.
  10. Monitor in-store performance and customer feedback to identify areas of improvement.
