As a Utility Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production and maintenance of our products, ensuring their safety and functionality for our customers.   1. Operate and maintain various equipment and machinery used in the production of electrical and lighting products.
  2. Perform welding tasks, including but not limited to MIG, TIG, and spot welding, to assemble and repair components.
  3. Conduct routine quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet company standards and specifications.
  4. Troubleshoot equipment and machinery malfunctions and perform basic repairs as needed.
  5. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  6. Maintain accurate records of production and maintenance activities.
  7. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify process improvements and implement them to increase efficiency and productivity.
  8. Assist with inventory management and material handling tasks, including loading and unloading materials and products.
  9. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including attendance, punctuality, and dress code.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
  11. Continuously develop and improve welding skills through training and on-the-job experience.
  12. Communicate any issues or concerns regarding production, equipment, or safety to supervisors in a timely manner.
  13. Adhere to all applicable regulations and standards, such as OSHA and ANSI, to ensure compliance and safety.
  14. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment by fostering open communication and teamwork.
  15. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality in all tasks and responsibilities.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Welding And Fabrication, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Industrial Setting.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Various Welding Techniques, Including Mig, Tig, And Stick Welding.

  • Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Drawings And Blueprints.

  • Familiarity With Various Types Of Welding Equipment And Tools, And The Ability To Troubleshoot And Perform Routine Maintenance.

  • Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Follow Safety Protocols And Procedures.
