
Supply Chain Analyst
At Hubbell Incorporated, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing procurement and logistics support to our business operations. We are seeking a team player who is passionate about helping the organization reach its goals through efficient supply chain management. The ideal candidate should possess a combination of analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. They should have a comprehensive understanding of the supply chain process, including inventory management, procurement, and logistics. The Supply Chain Analyst will have a deep knowledge of, and experience in, creating, implementing, and monitoring supply chain strategies, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. To be successful in this role, the Supply Chain Analyst should have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role is preferred. Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills are essential. Knowledge of transportation and warehouse management systems is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor and assess supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal supply chain operations.
- Analyze inventory management systems and develop strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Manage logistics operations, including transportation and warehousing.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure the best terms and prices.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Create and monitor KPIs to measure supply chain performance.
- Create reports and presentations to communicate supply chain performance.
- Utilize project management skills to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in supply chain management.
