Job Description

At Hubbell Incorporated, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing procurement and logistics support to our business operations. We are seeking a team player who is passionate about helping the organization reach its goals through efficient supply chain management. The ideal candidate should possess a combination of analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. They should have a comprehensive understanding of the supply chain process, including inventory management, procurement, and logistics. The Supply Chain Analyst will have a deep knowledge of, and experience in, creating, implementing, and monitoring supply chain strategies, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. To be successful in this role, the Supply Chain Analyst should have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role is preferred. Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills are essential. Knowledge of transportation and warehouse management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  2. Monitor and assess supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal supply chain operations.
  4. Analyze inventory management systems and develop strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  5. Manage logistics operations, including transportation and warehousing.
  6. Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure the best terms and prices.
  7. Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  8. Create and monitor KPIs to measure supply chain performance.
  9. Create reports and presentations to communicate supply chain performance.
  10. Utilize project management skills to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
  11. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in supply chain management.
