Job Description

At Hubbell Incorporated, we are looking for a highly talented and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, along with a strong attention to detail. We are looking for someone who is organized and detail-oriented to manage all procurement activities and ensure all materials, supplies, and services are procured in an accurate and timely manner.The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field; a minimum of three years of experience in a procurement role; and a strong working knowledge of purchasing processes and procedures, supplier relationship management, and inventory control. The successful candidate will also have the ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Manage procurement activities to ensure all materials, supplies, and services are procured accurately and in a timely manner.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the best pricing and quality of products.
  3. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  4. Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.
  5. Monitor and track inventory levels and ensure timely restocking of supplies.
  6. Analyze supplier performance and recommend areas of improvement.
  7. Provide support to management in the development of procurement strategies and budgeting.
  8. Participate in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
  9. Research potential vendors and review quotations to select the most cost-effective options.
  10. Liaise with internal departments to coordinate procurement activities.
