Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Procurement Specialist to join our team at Hubbell Incorporated. The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for building relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure we are receiving the best available prices, quality, and delivery. The ideal candidate must have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and negotiation skills, and a passion for finding cost-effective solutions. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  2. Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best available prices, quality, and delivery.
  3. Monitor and manage the procurement process from sourcing to delivery.
  4. Research and analyze market trends to identify potential cost-savings opportunities.
  5. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities.
  6. Develop strategies to reduce costs and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  7. Resolve any issues or disputes between vendors and suppliers.
  8. Investigate and evaluate potential new vendors and suppliers.
  9. Stay up to date with industry trends and new products.
  10. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other related tasks as needed.
