Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated IT Support Specialist to join Hubbell Incorporated. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. You will be the face of Hubbell Incorporated's IT department and the go-to person for any IT related issues.The ideal candidate will be highly organized and have excellent customer service skills. They should be able to troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions in a timely manner. They should have a strong knowledge of computer systems, applications, and networks and be able to work with minimal supervision.If you are a detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for technology and helping others, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical assistance and support for computer systems, hardware, and software.
  2. Assess customer IT issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
  3. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide quick resolutions.
  4. Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, applications, and network devices.
  5. Monitor performance of computer systems and networks to ensure they are running efficiently and securely.
  6. Maintain inventory of all equipment, software, and software licenses.
  7. Provide user support and training for computer systems and applications.
  8. Collaborate with other IT personnel to diagnose and resolve IT issues.
  9. Ensure security of data, software, and hardware by establishing and enforcing system access controls.
  10. Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
  11. Respond to user inquiries regarding computer software and hardware operation.
  12. Create and maintain reports for management.
