The Financial Analyst must also have advanced knowledge of financial analysis software and a strong understanding of financial statements. An understanding of federal and state regulations, as well as a working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships is also essential.
