
Environmental Health and Safety Specialist
Hubbell Incorporated is looking for an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to join our team. This individual should have a passion for helping our organization create a safe and compliant work environment. The EHS Specialist will be a key member of the team responsible for creating a culture of safety and risk management across our organization.To be successful, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or a related field• 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment • Knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations, safety policies and procedures• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal• Proven success in developing and implementing safety programs• Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentIf you have the technical expertise and skills needed to excel in this role, we look forward to hearing from you!
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures for the organization.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Monitor safety and risk management across the organization.
- Perform safety inspections and investigations.
- Conduct safety training and provide guidance to employees.
- Create and maintain safety records and documentation.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans.
- Monitor employee safety performance and enforce safety standards.
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable safety laws and regulations.
- Recommends and implements continuous improvements in the safety program.
Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills
Knowledge Of Environmental Health And Safety Regulations
Experience In Manufacturing/Industrial Setting
Ability To Analyze Data And Identify Trends
Proficiency With Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelor’s Degree In Environmental Health And Safety Or Related Field
Certified Safety Professional (Csp) Or Other Safety Certifications
Ability To Interpret And Implement Safety Standards
