Job Description

As a Demand Planning Manager at Hubbell Incorporated, you will play a crucial role in driving the success and growth of our company.   1. Develop and implement a demand planning strategy that aligns with the overall company goals and objectives.
  2. Utilize historical data, market trends, and customer insights to accurately forecast demand for products.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, supply chain, and production, to gather information and insights for demand planning.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for adjustments to optimize product availability and minimize excess inventory.
  5. Conduct regular analysis of demand patterns and make necessary adjustments to the demand plan to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.
  6. Identify and address any potential supply chain disruptions that may impact demand forecasts.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
  8. Continuously evaluate and improve demand planning processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  9. Generate reports and present key findings and recommendations to upper management.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends, market changes, and customer needs to inform demand planning decisions.
  11. Train and mentor team members on demand planning processes and best practices.
  12. Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and effectiveness of demand planning efforts.
  13. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand promotional activities and their potential impact on demand.
  14. Communicate with customers to understand their demand and ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including ethical and safety standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Demand Planning Or Supply Chain Management.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Data And Make Strategic Decisions.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Proficiency In Demand Planning Software And Advanced Knowledge Of Microsoft Excel.
