- Develop and implement financial crime procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of existing procedures and make necessary updates to mitigate financial crime risks.
- Lead and manage a team of financial crime professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective procedures are in place.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of procedures to identify potential weaknesses or gaps and take corrective actions.
- Stay updated on the latest financial crime regulations and industry best practices to continuously improve procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams within the bank to ensure a holistic approach to financial crime prevention.
- Conduct training and provide guidance to staff on financial crime procedures and regulations.
- Work closely with law enforcement agencies and regulatory bodies to report suspicious activities and assist in investigations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as regulators and industry peers, to stay informed of industry developments and trends.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on the effectiveness of financial crime procedures and any potential risks or issues.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Finance, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Financial Crime Compliance, Preferably In The Banking Or Financial Services Industry.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Global Financial Crime Regulations And Laws, Including Aml, Kyc, And Sanctions.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify Potential Risks And Implement Effective Controls And Procedures.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.
