We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Strategic Sourcing Manager to join HSBC’s Procurement team. As part of this team, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and direction on global sourcing initiatives across a variety of categories. You must have strong analytical and negotiation skills, and be able to successfully manage complex projects. You must be able to bring a personal touch to the role, and be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Responsibilities:
- Lead global sourcing initiatives across multiple categories, ensuring optimal cost savings and process efficiencies.
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiations.
- Analyze market trends and anticipate future needs to inform procurement activities and strategies.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, providing strategic guidance and direction.
- Monitor, track, and report on sourcing activities and performance results.
- Ensure best practices in sourcing and contract management are followed.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and trends, and recommend changes to sourcing strategies accordingly.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations.
