
Senior Manager - Money Mules and First Party Fraud

We are currently seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Manager to join our team as the leader of our Money Mules and First Party Fraud department. In this role, you will play a critical role in protecting our customers and the bank from financial crime by managing and mitigating the risks of fraudulent activity related to money mules and first party fraud. - Develop and implement strategies to prevent, detect, and mitigate the risks of money mule and first party fraud activities.
- Oversee a team of analysts and investigators to identify and investigate potential fraudulent activity.
- Monitor and analyze trends in money mule and first party fraud to continuously improve detection and prevention methods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and technology, to implement controls and processes to mitigate risks.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for enhancements to the bank's policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to financial crime and fraud prevention.
- Lead and participate in training and awareness programs for employees to enhance their understanding and awareness of money mule and first party fraud risks.
- Act as a subject matter expert on money mule and first party fraud for the bank and provide guidance and support to other departments.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as law enforcement agencies and industry associations, to share information and collaborate on fraud prevention initiatives.
- Prepare and present reports and updates on money mule and first party fraud risks to senior management and relevant committees.
Extensive Knowledge Of Money Muling And First Party Fraud Schemes: A Senior Manager In This Role Should Possess Deep Understanding And Experience In Identifying And Mitigating Money Muling And First Party Fraud Activities, As Well As Keeping Up-To-Date With The Latest Trends And Techniques Used By Fraudsters.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Senior Manager, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Fraud Analysts And Investigators. Therefore, They Should Have Proven Experience In Effectively Managing And Motivating A Team To Achieve Department Goals And Objectives.
Analytical And Strategic Thinking: The Role Of A Senior Manager In This Area Requires The Ability To Analyze Complex Data And Develop Strategies To Prevent And Detect Fraudulent Activities. This Person Should Be Able To Think Critically And Make Data-Driven Decisions To Protect The Bank And Its Customers.
