- Develop and implement a comprehensive audit program for the Financial Crime Risk (FCR) department.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential areas of vulnerability and develop strategies to mitigate financial crime risks.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance processes related to financial crime prevention.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
- Oversee and manage a team of auditors, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Keep abreast of changes in financial crime legislation and regulations, and ensure that the FCR audit program remains up-to-date.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior management and make suggestions for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
- Conduct regular training and development programs for employees to increase awareness and understanding of financial crime risks.
- Lead investigations into suspected financial crime activities and report any findings to relevant authorities.
- Prepare and present comprehensive audit reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external auditors and regulatory agencies.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices related to financial crime risk management and make recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure the FCR audit program is aligned with the overall strategy and goals of the organization.
- Provide support and guidance to other departments on financial crime risk management matters.
Extensive Experience In Financial Crime Risk Management: A Senior Audit Manager At Hsbc Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Financial Crime Risk Management, With A Strong Understanding Of Global Regulatory Requirements And Industry Best Practices.
Strong Knowledge Of Audit Practices And Methodologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Audit Practices And Methodologies, Particularly In The Area Of Financial Crime Risk. This Includes Experience In Conducting Risk Assessments, Developing Audit Plans, And Executing Audit Programs.
