  1. Lead and manage the quality assurance function for the internal audit department, ensuring that all processes and procedures meet the highest standards of excellence.
  2. Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and tools to ensure consistency and efficiency in the audit process.
  3. Conduct regular reviews and audits of internal audit activities to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  4. Collaborate with senior management and other stakeholders to develop and execute quality assurance strategies and initiatives that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  5. Provide guidance and support to audit teams in developing and executing audit plans, ensuring that all audits are conducted in accordance with established standards and procedures.
  6. Monitor and analyze trends in audit results, providing recommendations for corrective actions and process improvements to enhance the overall effectiveness of the internal audit function.
  7. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, to ensure the organization's audit processes and procedures remain in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  8. Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a high level of expertise and efficiency within the team.
  9. Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and changes in regulations that may impact the organization's audit processes, and recommend appropriate actions as needed.
  10. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the organization's risk management framework, ensuring that all audit activities are aligned with the organization's risk appetite and tolerance levels.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Audit Experience: A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Audit, Preferably In A Financial Institution, With A Strong Understanding Of Audit Principles, Practices, And Methodologies.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: In-Depth Knowledge Of Banking Regulations And Compliance Requirements, Including Basel Iii, Sarbanes-Oxley Act, And Other Global Regulatory Standards.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: Proven Track Record Of Leading And Managing Teams, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate And Influence At All Levels Of The Organization.

  • Analytical And Strategic Thinking: Ability To Analyze Complex Data And Identify Risk Areas, As Well As Develop And Implement Strategic Plans To Enhance Audit Processes And Procedures.

  • Professional Qualifications: Recognized Professional Qualification In Auditing, Such As Certified Internal Auditor (Cia), Certified Public Accountant (Cpa), Or Certified Information Systems Auditor (Cisa). Additional Certifications In Risk Management Or Compliance Will Be A Plus.
