- Develop and implement processes and procedures for OTC derivatives trade and transaction reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Oversee and manage a team responsible for executing trade and transaction reporting for OTC derivatives.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all OTC derivatives trades to regulatory bodies.
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and update reporting processes accordingly.
- Act as a subject matter expert on OTC derivatives trade and transaction reporting, providing guidance and support to team members.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including traders, risk managers, and compliance officers, to ensure reporting processes align with business strategies and objectives.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of trade and transaction reporting processes to identify and address any issues or errors.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Generate reports and presentations for senior management on trade and transaction reporting metrics and performance.
- Train and mentor team members to ensure a high level of knowledge and expertise in OTC derivatives trade and transaction reporting.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to OTC derivatives trade and transaction reporting.
- Act as a point of contact for external auditors and regulators during audits and examinations.
- Lead projects related to OTC derivatives trade and transaction reporting, including system upgrades and regulatory changes.
- Communicate with third-party service providers to ensure accurate and timely reporting of OTC derivatives trades.
- Uphold the values and standards of HSBC in all interactions and represent the organization in a professional and ethical manner.
Strong Understanding Of Otc Derivatives Market And Regulatory Requirements: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Otc Derivatives Products, Market Dynamics, And Regulatory Requirements, Including But Not Limited To Dodd-Frank, Emir, And Mifid Ii.
Proven Experience In Trade And Transaction Reporting: The Candidate Should Have Several Years Of Experience In A Trade And Transaction Reporting Role, Preferably Within A Financial Institution. This Includes Hands-On Experience With Reporting Platforms Such As Dtcc, Regis-Tr, And Unavista.
Leadership And Team Management Skills: As A Team Lead, The Candidate Should Have Strong Leadership And Team Management Skills, With The Ability To Motivate And Guide Team Members To Achieve Their Goals. This Includes Setting Clear Objectives, Providing Regular Feedback, And Fostering A Collaborative Team Environment.
Attention To Detail And Strong Analytical Skills: Accuracy And Attention To Detail Are Crucial In Trade And Transaction Reporting, As Any Errors Can Have Significant Financial And Regulatory Consequences.
