Extensive Experience In Mortgage Lending: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In The Mortgage Industry, With A Strong Understanding Of The Entire Mortgage Loan Process.
Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of All Federal And State Regulations Related To Mortgage Lending, Including But Not Limited To The Truth In Lending Act And The Equal Credit Opportunity Act.
Strong Sales And Customer Service Skills: As A Mortgage Manager, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Driving Sales And Building Relationships With Customers. Therefore, They Should Have Excellent Sales And Customer Service Skills To Effectively Communicate With Clients And Meet Their Needs.
Leadership And Management Experience: This Role Requires The Candidate To Manage A Team Of Mortgage Loan Officers, So They Should Have Previous Experience In A Leadership Or Management Role. They Should Also Possess Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Finance Or Related Field: A Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Economics, Or A Related Field Is Typically Required For This Role. A Higher Level Of Education, Such As A Master's Degree, May Be Preferred By Hsbc.
