  1. Lead and manage a team of legal professionals, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day tasks and overall career development.
  2. Utilize your extensive knowledge and experience in corporate law and compliance to provide sound legal advice and guidance to the business operations of HSBC.
  3. Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and mitigate potential legal risks for the organization.
  4. Collaborate with other departments, including risk management and compliance, to develop and implement effective legal strategies and solutions.
  5. Review and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to protect the interests of HSBC and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  6. Manage and oversee all legal proceedings, including litigation, arbitration, and regulatory investigations.
  7. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and external legal counsel.
  8. Conduct legal research and analysis to support business decisions and initiatives.
  9. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure legal and ethical standards are met throughout the organization.
  10. Act as a key advisor to senior management, providing strategic legal advice and support on business initiatives and decisions.

Job Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School.

  • Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience Practicing Law, Preferably In A Corporate Or Financial Institution Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Banking And Financial Regulations, Including Securities, Derivatives, And Consumer Protection Laws.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Managing A Team And Advising Senior Management On Legal Matters.
