In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse and dynamic team to manage and mitigate risk within our Wealth & Personal Banking portfolio.   1. Develop and implement risk management strategies and policies for the Wealth & Personal Banking portfolio.
  2. Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential areas of risk within the portfolio.
  3. Monitor and analyze key risk indicators and report findings to senior management.
  4. Collaborate with other departments, such as compliance and legal, to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  5. Continuously review and update risk management processes to ensure they are in line with industry best practices.
  6. Train and mentor team members on risk management processes, procedures, and tools.
  7. Evaluate and approve new products and services, ensuring they comply with risk management guidelines.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, regulators, and internal and external auditors.
  9. Identify and escalate any emerging risks to senior management in a timely manner.
  10. Conduct investigations and provide recommendations for remediation of any identified risks.
  11. Keep abreast of industry trends and developments related to risk management, and incorporate them into the team's processes and strategies.
  12. Regularly review and update risk management policies and procedures to ensure they are aligned with the bank's overall risk appetite.
  13. Prepare and present reports on risk management activities to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
  14. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management controls and procedures.
  15. Foster a culture of risk awareness and compliance within the Wealth & Personal Banking team.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Finance, Economics, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Risk Management, Preferably In The Banking Or Financial Services Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Wealth Management And Personal Banking Products And Services.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Risk And Compliance Within A Financial Institution.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Make Sound Decisions Under Pressure.
