- Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies and policies for the treasury department in alignment with the overall risk management framework of HSBC.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in the treasury operations and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Oversee the design and implementation of internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments within the organization to identify and manage interrelated risks that may impact the treasury function.
- Lead and manage a team of risk professionals, providing guidance and support in the execution of their responsibilities.
- Monitor and analyze key risk indicators to identify emerging risks and proactively address any potential issues.
- Prepare and present risk reports to senior management, highlighting key risks and their potential impact on the organization.
- Stay updated on industry developments and regulatory changes related to treasury risk management and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct training and awareness sessions for employees on risk management policies and procedures.
- Foster a culture of risk awareness and accountability within the treasury function through effective communication and training initiatives.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Risk Management Or Audit, Preferably In A Financial Institution.
Strong Knowledge Of Treasury Risk Management Practices And Regulatory Requirements.
Excellent Analytical Skills And Ability To Identify And Mitigate Potential Risks.
Proven Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Influence Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
