  1. Develop and implement compliance strategies and policies to ensure HSBC meets all legal and regulatory requirements.
  2. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and develop mitigation plans.
  3. Monitor and review internal policies and procedures to ensure they align with industry best practices and regulatory guidelines.
  4. Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization and provide recommendations for necessary actions.
  5. Lead and direct compliance training programs for employees at all levels to promote a culture of compliance within the organization.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance requirements are incorporated into business processes and systems.
  7. Conduct internal audits and investigations to identify any potential compliance violations and take appropriate corrective actions.
  8. Serve as the main point of contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and information as needed.
  9. Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management, highlighting areas of concern and recommending solutions.
  10. Mentor and guide compliance team members, providing support and guidance to ensure their professional development.
  11. Proactively identify and address potential compliance risks and provide recommendations for improvement.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
  13. Foster a culture of ethical behavior and compliance throughout the organization.
  14. Represent HSBC at industry conferences and events related to compliance and risk management.
  15. Collaborate with other departments, such as legal and risk management, to ensure a comprehensive approach to compliance.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Compliance Or Regulatory Roles Within The Financial Services Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements And Industry Best Practices.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Compliance Issues To Senior Management.

  • Proven Track Record Of Managing And Leading A Team, With The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Delegate Responsibilities Effectively.
