  1. Manage and maintain the Linux and Veritas Cluster Services infrastructure of HSBC.
  2. Ensure the stability, scalability, and availability of the infrastructure.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to Linux and Veritas Cluster Services.
  4. Monitor system performance and proactively identify and address potential issues.
  5. Implement and maintain security protocols and measures to protect the infrastructure.
  6. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless integration and functioning of the infrastructure.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and updates in Linux and Veritas Cluster Services and make recommendations for improvements.
  8. Develop and maintain documentation for the Linux and Veritas Cluster Services infrastructure.
  9. Train and support other team members on the use and maintenance of the infrastructure.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry and regulatory standards.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency In Linux And Veritas Cluster Services: The Job Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding And Experience With Both Linux Operating Systems And Veritas Cluster Services. This Includes Knowledge Of Installation, Configuration, And Troubleshooting Of The Cluster Software.

  • Experience With High Availability (Ha) And Disaster Recovery (Dr): Hsbc Requires A Candidate Who Has Experience With Ha And Dr Solutions, Specifically Related To Linux And Veritas Cluster Services. This Includes Designing, Implementing, And Maintaining Ha And Dr Solutions For Critical Applications.

  • Knowledge Of Storage Area Networks (San): The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of San Technology And Its Integration With Linux And Veritas Cluster Services. This Includes Experience With Configuring And Managing Storage Resources, Such As Luns And Volumes, Within A Clustered Environment.

  • Strong Communication And Problem-Solving Skills: Working With A Global Team, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Collaborate With Team Members And Effectively Troubleshoot Issues. The Ability To Think Critically And Solve Complex Problems In A Fast-Paced Environment Is Also Crucial.

  • Previous Experience In A Financial Institution: Hsbc Is A Multinational Bank, And Experience In A Similar High-Pressure Environment Is Highly Desirable. Previous Experience In A Financial Institution, Especially With Linux/Veritas Cluster Services, Will Give The Candidate A Competitive Edge.
