- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential conduct risks in the LAM/MX markets.
- Monitor and analyze regulatory changes and industry developments in the LAM/MX region, and provide recommendations for any necessary updates to policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain an effective conduct risk management framework.
- Conduct training and education sessions for employees to increase awareness of conduct risk and promote a culture of compliance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry associations in the LAM/MX markets.
- Conduct reviews and audits to ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and investigate potential conduct risk incidents, and work with relevant departments to implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on conduct risk issues and mitigation efforts.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and make recommendations for continuous improvement of the company's conduct risk management practices.
- Act as a subject matter expert on LAM/MX conduct risk matters and provide guidance and support to other departments and teams within the organization.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Finance, Economics, Business, Or Risk Management.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably Within The Financial Services Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Conduct Risk And Regulatory Requirements, Particularly In The Areas Of Lam (Latin America) And Mx (Mexico).
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Assess Potential Conduct Risks And Develop Effective Mitigation Strategies.
Knowledge Of Hsbc's Policies, Procedures, And Systems Related To Conduct Risk Management, As Well As An Understanding Of The Bank's Lam And Mx Operations.
