  1. Develop and maintain the incident management process for information protection within HSBC.
  2. Monitor and analyze potential security threats and vulnerabilities to HSBC's data and information systems.
  3. Collaborate with various teams within HSBC to identify and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
  4. Conduct investigations into security incidents, gathering all necessary evidence and documentation.
  5. Provide guidance and support to business units on implementing security controls and procedures to prevent future incidents.
  6. Develop and implement incident response plans and procedures to ensure a swift and effective response to any security incidents.
  7. Maintain and regularly test the incident response plan to ensure it is up-to-date and effective.
  8. Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and mitigations to proactively identify and address potential risks.
  9. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, regarding security incidents and their impact on the organization.
  10. Train and educate employees on information security best practices and procedures.
  11. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all incidents are handled in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  12. Continuously review and improve the incident management process to enhance its effectiveness and efficiency.
  13. Conduct post-incident analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information throughout all stages of incident management.
  15. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and recommendations to HSBC's leadership on information protection and security incidents.
