  3. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the rates derivatives team, including managing and mentoring team members.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing them with the best solutions.
  5. Stay updated on market trends and developments related to rates derivatives and provide insights to the leadership team.
  6. Collaborate with other departments and teams within HSBC to ensure a seamless delivery of services to clients.
  7. Monitor and manage risk within the rates derivatives business, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
  8. Develop and maintain a strong network within the financial industry to stay updated on market trends and potential opportunities.
  9. Analyze and evaluate financial data and performance to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance business performance.
  10. Represent HSBC at industry events and conferences to promote the rates derivatives business and enhance the bank's reputation.
  11. Act as a subject matter expert on rates derivatives, providing guidance and support to team members and other departments within the bank.
  12. Set and monitor performance targets for the rates derivatives team, providing regular feedback and coaching to team members.
  13. Collaborate with the HR department to recruit, train, and develop talent for the rates derivatives team.
