- Develop and implement effective governance, risk, and compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Monitor and assess the bank's risk exposure and compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify potential areas of non-compliance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide guidance and support on GRC matters.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on the bank's risk and compliance status.
- Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements and industry trends to ensure the bank's policies and procedures are up to date.
- Conduct training and awareness programs for employees to promote a strong culture of compliance.
- Investigate and resolve any compliance issues or breaches in a timely and effective manner.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulators and external auditors.
- Identify and propose solutions to improve operational efficiency and mitigate risk.
- Provide support and guidance to junior staff members in the GRC team.
- Act as a subject matter expert on GRC matters and provide advice and recommendations to business units.
- Represent the bank in meetings or conferences related to governance, risk, and compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement risk management and crisis response plans.
- Ensure the bank's compliance with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing regulations.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Regulatory Compliance: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements And Frameworks, Such As Dodd-Frank, Basel Iii, And Gdpr, To Ensure The Bank's Compliance With Applicable Laws And Regulations.
Experience In Risk Management: The Role Requires A Thorough Understanding Of Risk Management Practices, Including Identification, Assessment, And Mitigation Of Risks. The Candidate Should Have Experience In Developing And Implementing Risk Management Strategies.
Strong Communication Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, To Effectively Communicate With Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization. This Includes The Ability To Convey Complex Compliance And Risk-Related Information In A Clear And Concise Manner.
Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities: As A Senior Support Specialist, The Candidate Must Be Able To Analyze Complex Data And Identify Potential Compliance And Risk Issues. They Should Also Have Experience In Developing And Implementing Solutions To Mitigate Risks And Improve Compliance Processes.
