Job Description

We are looking for an experienced professional to join HSBC as Global Head of Liabilities Management. This highly strategic position is responsible for leading the development and execution of global liabilities management strategies. As a senior leader, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the bank, as well as external parties, to drive the development of liabilities management solutions and foster innovative thinking.To be successful in this role, you must possess strong business acumen, a thorough understanding of liabilities management strategies, and experience in a similar role within the banking sector. You must also have excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and the ability to think strategically to develop and implement solutions. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute global liabilities management strategies in line with the bank’s objectives.
  2. Lead the development of innovative liabilities management solutions and foster innovative thinking.
  3. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of strategies.
  4. Monitor and report on liabilities management performance metrics.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and suppliers.
  6. Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  7. Provide strategic guidance and expertise on liabilities management issues.
  8. Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of liabilities management strategies and market trends.
  9. Manage a team of liabilities management professionals.
  10. Establish and maintain effective communication channels with all stakeholders.
