  1. Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for HSBC.
  2. Serve as a subject matter expert for GCP and provide guidance to the team on best practices and solutions.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of GCP solutions.
  4. Monitor and optimize GCP infrastructure for performance, availability, and cost.
  5. Identify and troubleshoot any issues or challenges with GCP infrastructure.
  6. Develop and maintain documentation for GCP infrastructure and processes.
  7. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in cloud computing to continuously enhance HSBC's GCP infrastructure.
  8. Work closely with the development team to ensure efficient deployment of applications on GCP.
  9. Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients on GCP infrastructure.
  10. Conduct regular audits and security checks to maintain the integrity and security of GCP infrastructure.
  11. Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve GCP infrastructure and processes.
  12. Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to manage GCP infrastructure and services.
  13. Train and mentor team members on GCP best practices and processes.
  14. Adhere to HSBC's policies, procedures, and security standards.
  15. Stay updated with GCP certifications and continuously improve technical skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience With Google Cloud Platform (Gcp) Infrastructure And Services, Including Proficiency With Gcp Tools Such As Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, And Bigquery.

  • Strong Understanding Of Devops Principles And Experience Implementing Devops Practices In A Cloud Environment, Including Automation, Continuous Integration And Delivery, Infrastructure As Code, And Monitoring.

  • Proven Track Record Of Designing And Implementing Scalable, Reliable, And Secure Gcp Solutions, With A Focus On Optimizing Cost And Performance.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Network And Security Concepts, Including Firewalls, Load Balancers, Vpns, And Identity And Access Management, As They Relate To Gcp.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Closely With Development Teams, System Administrators, And Other Stakeholders To Deliver High-Quality Solutions And Provide Technical Guidance And Support.
