  1. Develop and implement data ingestion patterns on GCP using APIs to drive the data strategy forward at HSBC.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design solutions that meet those needs.
  3. Utilize your technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data ingestion patterns and APIs.
  4. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in technology to ensure HSBC remains at the forefront of data ingestion techniques.
  5. Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of data ingestion patterns to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  6. Develop and maintain documentation of data ingestion processes, including technical specifications and user guides.
  7. Provide guidance and support to junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  8. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.
  9. Identify and recommend improvements to existing data ingestion processes to optimize performance and efficiency.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Knowledge Of Gcp: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Google Cloud Platform (Gcp) And Its Various Services Such As Compute Engine, Bigquery, Pub/Sub, Etc. They Should Have Experience In Designing And Implementing Gcp-Based Solutions.

  • Proficiency In Api Development: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Api Development And Management, Including Rest And Soap Protocols. They Should Also Have Experience In Using Api Management Tools Such As Apigee Or Mulesoft.

  • Expertise In Data Ingestion Patterns: A Strong Understanding Of Data Ingestion Patterns And Techniques Is A Must For This Role. The Candidate Should Have Experience In Working With Various Data Ingestion Tools And Technologies, Such As Kafka, Spark, Or Flink.

  • Experience In Solution Design And Implementation: The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Designing And Implementing Complex Solutions In A Cloud Environment. They Should Be Able To Translate Business Requirements Into Technical Solutions And Have Experience In Delivering High-Quality Solutions On Time And Within Budget.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills. They Should Be Able To Identify And Troubleshoot Issues In A Complex Environment And Come Up With Effective Solutions To Address Them. They Should Also Have A Strong Attention To Detail And The Ability To Work Under Pressure.
