- Develop and implement employee relations strategies and policies that align with the overall goals and values of HSBC.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.
- Conduct investigations into employee relations matters such as grievances, harassment, and disciplinary issues, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant employment laws and regulations, and provide guidance to the organization to ensure compliance.
- Develop and deliver training programs to managers and employees on employee relations topics, such as conflict resolution and diversity and inclusion.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with employees, managers, and other stakeholders, promoting a culture of open communication and mutual respect.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and other relevant teams to address employee relations issues and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Analyze employee relations data and trends to identify potential areas for improvement and develop proactive strategies to address them.
- Partner with management to handle complex employee relations issues and provide guidance on best practices.
- Act as an advocate for employees, ensuring their rights and interests are protected while also balancing the needs of the organization.
- Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed records of employee relations cases and actions taken.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and tact.
- Keep the organization informed of any changes or updates to employee relations policies and procedures.
- Represent HSBC in external forums, such as labor unions or employment tribunals, as needed.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of employee relations programs and policies and make recommendations for improvement.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Employee Relations, Preferably In A Large Corporate Setting.
Extensive Knowledge Of Labor Laws And Regulations, Including Fmla, Ada, And Eeo.
Strong Communication And Conflict Resolution Skills.
Ability To Handle Sensitive And Confidential Information With Discretion And Professionalism.
